    Designed for portraiture, landscapes, and astrophotography, the AF 135mm f/1.8 FE from Samyang is a medium-length telephoto prime designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Offering outstanding resolution, the optical design incorporates three extra-low dispersion elements and an ultra-precision aspherical element, which suppresses both chromatic and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness, color accuracy, and clarity. An ultra multicoating has also been applied to reduce ghosting and flare in order to achieve higher contrast when working in strong lighting conditions.The lens has a linear STM autofocus motor for quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance, plus a minimum focusing distance of just 2.3" to suit working with close-up subjects.     Tracking the subject accurately and quickly, the AF also operates quietly and smoothly when shooting video. Samyang's Linear STM (Stepping Motor)



    Advanced Optical Design:

    An optimum resolution is achieved through the optical design of 6 special glasses (3 ED, 2 HR, and 1 U-ASP) among 13 elements in 11 groups


    Modern Design & Weather Sealing:

    It has a micro-patterned rubber focus ring, which feels great to operate and the weather-sealing protects the lens from light rain, snow, and dust. You can easily tell the Astro-Focus Mode status with the LED Index when shooting at night.


    Superb Resolution in Lightweight 135mm:

    Not only outstanding resolution but also weight is important when shooting portraits. Especially in a handheld shooting environment, the benefit of the lightweight lens is huge, so innovative technology was needed to combine resolution and weight at the same time.

    The AF 135mm F1.8 FE uses a large-diameter aperture to provide smooth background blur. Also, it is equipped with UA (Ultra-precision Aspherical) lens, so you can enjoy the natural and refined bokeh.



    Short Minimum Focusing Distance:

    Although it is a 135mm telephoto lens that effectively controls aberration at all focusing distances has made it possible to achieve a minimum focus distance of just 0.69 meters (2.26 ft) and a maximum magnification of 0.243x for close-up photography.
